ARBORMOTION DONATES 300 OIL CHANGES TO SAFE HOUSE CENTER
CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT ‘SAFEHOUSE CENTER’ DURING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH
Beginning September 17, 2008 ArborMotion will be offering free oil change services to the first 300 customers who contribute $25.00 or more to Ann Arbor’s Safe House Center. Kicking off in conjunction with Safe House Center’s 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Lake Forest Golf Club, ArborMotion’s unique fundraising initiative is designed to support the services of Safe House Center and raise awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault in the greater community.
Anyone in the community that would like to contribute $25.00 or more will be eligible to receive a free oil change service, pre-winter safety inspection and carwash to be underwritten by ArborMotion and performed by one of its five divisions of specialized auto care. At the time of their scheduled oil change service, participants can present their donations made payable to Safe House Center at ArborMotion’s facility at 669 State Circle AnnArbor, MI 48108.

Support from ArborMotion will provide the concrete, life saving services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence,” said Barbara Niess, Executive Director of SafeHouse Center. “After 30 plus years in the Ann Arbor community, we are always looking for creative ways to give back to the community, especially causes that are important to our customers,” says Jason Gary, Business Manager of ArborMotion. ArborMotion is an automotive care facility based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It has 5 divisions specializing in automobile maintenance, repair and detailing.
SafeHouse Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in Washtenaw County, Michigan. SafeHouse Center is a social change and social service organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence. SafeHouse Center provides 24-hour response to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and works to educate our communities about what they can do to end domestic/dating violence and sexual assault.
